In 2012 I was hired as Design Assistant in the Kandersteg International Scout Centre. As the in-house designer I got to do any kind of design that you can imagine, I went from a 3 meter-wide banner to a 2×2 scout badge.
Part of my job over there was to redesign the leaflets and the website but the brand manual did just allow me to use “arial” and “impact” fonts and it is not needed to say that it was quite a challenge.
I also created a couple of identities one of them was for the 90th anniversary of the centre and also the one of the scouts academy and event organized by the World Scout Organization.
Finally I had to make some new products for the shop, most of those where just placing the logo in a template but the real challenge were the t-shirts. I designed 4 of them, a general for the centre as well as one for each group of programme activities: eco, international friendship and mountain adventure.
